# Why is SwissBorg the most Solana Centric CEX?

Since 2017, the technological infrastructure underpinning the decentralized world, namely blockchains, has undergone remarkable evolution. While efficient on-chain trading seemed a fantasy in 2017, seven years later, it's evident that on-chain trading will inevitably become the norm. 

We have developed what we consider to be the most fair and dedicated technology for crypto investment. We have always been advocates of the DeFi philosophy. Fact talk for themselves: We are from the ICO era, we never took VC as funding mechanism, our first referendum was done on-chain, we integrated DeFi into our Earn Program in 2020 (marking the beginning of our DeFi scaling journey), and most recently launching MEX (becoming the first CEX to genuinely contribute in the expansion of the DEX world, by sourcing liquidity directly from a large range of DEX on Solana).
